Bio-Nucleonics Receives Hot Cell and Shielded Glove Box

In September 2009 Bio-Nucleonics received delivery of two heavy pieces of equipment. These lead shielded isolators allow for expansion of production in 2010.

This equipment will enable the Company to expand the production facility. The isolators are essential pieces of production equipment to allow for our new products slated for next year, including Rubidium Rb-82 Generators, Indium-111s.

American Brachytherapy Society

An abstract on 25 patients which were treated with the Gynocyte was accepted into the upcoming American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) Meeting to be held on April 29, 2010.

The abstract, in which patients with histologically-proven carcinoma of the cervix were entered consecutively, resulted in no patients receiving a total dose outside the limit of 10% variability from the intended dose.

Bio-Nucleonics Moves Forward on New Facility at the University of Miami Life Science Park

The Company is in the midst negotiations with the University of Miami, which wants the Company to be one of the anchor tenants at the University of Miami Life Sciences and Technology Park which is expected to open in the second quarter of 2011 (see artist rendering below). Bio-Nucleonics has met with the building firm Perkins & Will who will be designing the space from the ground up as a dedicated manufacturing facility. The University has offered a 10 year lease and has plans to purchase a cyclotron; of which Bio-Nucleonics will have access to the isotopes that will be produced as radiochemicals.

Bio-Nucleonics Meets with Arronax

Bio-Nucleonics recently held meetings with Arronax in Miami to solidify the contract for the long-term supply of Strontium-82. (the feedstock for our Rubidium-82 Generator and Infusion Cart) The contract is set to be executed by June 1, 2010.

Talks also continued regarding the set-up of an EU based facility at Arronax in Nantes, France, which would be funded through grants and loans from the French government. This will allow Bio-Nucleonics to penetrate the European Union market for Strontium-82 and the Rubidium generator.

Bio-Nucleonics Attends Annual DCAT Meeting

Ms. Satz, President and CEO of the Company, attended the Drug, Chemical and Associated Technologies (DCAT) Meeting in New York, March 21-23, 2010. DCAT is the largest pharmaceutical raw material sourcing meeting of its kind and is attended by most drug manufacturers. While there she met with several large pharmaceutical companies that have expressed an interest in potential collaborations. Follow-up meetings are planned for June and July.
